When of the things that I find a bit annoying (not hugely so but a bit) is that when I use the add item tag on a skin to make the simple add item form appear it submits to the admin area so if that user has no admin area access then the form fails to work for them.

One possible solution to this is to make a small change to the admin area core so that an after action target URL is providable and this is the page that users get sent to. Then for pop-up actions that don't take you to their own "thanks, no close me" we could redirect to:

generic-thanks.php?message=some%30message

I have a feeling this would be a very small change but it could be used in a number of really cool ways.
