I would like to see in each list of banned IPs, the date the ban was created. I like to delete bans that are old, but sometimes I forget to code the date in the ban comment. For the action log: I would like a column for the source IP and for a ban link. I get lots of login attempts, and if I could see that more than one is from a particular IP (or IP block) I could ban it (or send a clue-by-four request to their admin). Would also like the ability to clear action log "before <date>" instead of making it all or nothing. _________________ Wes Groleau |

These are all good suggestions but will require database mods. I will see if they can be fit into the 4.0 code. Are you using the NP_SecurityEnforcer plugin that is now bundled? It will block logins or IPs that have too many failed logins within a period of time. It will also tell you in the actionlog message what the IP was. _________________ Is your question not solved yet? Search our FAQ, read the Documentation, or browse the list of available plugins. Thanks. I can't remember whether I turned on that enforcer, but I certainly will if not. _________________ Wes Groleau |
